Zuni Petit Point Turquoise Flower Cluster Sterling Cuff Bracelet
This delicate sterling silver cuff bracelet is a beautiful example of traditional Zuni Petit Point artistry. The center of the cuff features a dimensional flower cluster or sunburst motif formed by numerous small, hand-cut, tear-drop shaped pieces of bright blue Turquoise.
The overall design, with its symmetrical arrangement and slender silver cuff, is highly feminine and characteristic of mid-20th-century Zuni work. The cuff has an inside circumference that measures approximately 6.5" including the 1 1/3" gap (or cuff opening). The central flower cluster measures about 1" wide. Although it is not marked with a sterling stamp, it has been confirmed to test as sterling silver, consistent with authentic Native American jewelry of this era.
