WDCC Wendy True Believer Boxed With COA Peter Pan Collection Vintage Retired. The sculptures of the Walt Disney Classics Collection were initially produced under the supervision of Disney animators. The figurines are made of porcelain in a process similar to the Hummel figurines. Individual pieces are molded and assembled then fired in an oven. They are then hand painted and fired again. Each piece is produced in limited editions. The Darling Nursery Scene from Peter Pan was released in 2000. This piece was release in 2001 as a Scene Completer for the Walt Disney Collectors Society Members only. Wendy is in perfect condition as she was displayed in a glass cabinet. The Certificate of Authenticity is still sealed although the box does show some storage wear. Please see photos for details.
