Vintage NORITAKE Frank Lloyd Wright 6 piece set Art Deco Imperial Hotel China
This is Frank Lloyd Wright-designed dinnerware based on a design for the Imperial Hotel, Tokyo, c1922 commissioned by Thomas Heinz, made by Noritake. Heinz and Co. was established to reproduce these pieces in a very limited edition of 1000 place settings, by Noritake in 1984. The asymmetrical, geometric pattern is the epitome of Art Deco with the colorful interlocking circle pattern on a white background. It is marked "Heinz and Co, 1984 Noritake, Japan.
This set is in excellent condition. missing the dinner plate. It is in very excellent condition for its age with no chips or cracks or wear. (It looks like it was never used.)
