VTG mid century Silver Fiber Optic Table Lamp

Vintage mid century, Sputnik style, chrome fiber glass/fiber optic lamp. This is an original. Produced by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. The fiber glass hairs, are actually that, fiber glass. These are very fragile, and delicate. This is not like the fiber optic lamps of the 90’s. As a child my grandmother had one of these. It was so tempting to touch. We were always told to not touch it, because the glass hairs would break. I can’t tell you how many splinters I got from that lamp. But I still touched it. This is in working condition.
