Vintage Native Zuni Bear Earrings with inlaid gemstones and engraved heart line.
These earrings are so neat! They are just the perfect size for everyday/anywhere wear, and the pop of color from the inlaid gemstones is sweet against the bright shiny Sterling Silver. The patina filled heart line engraved through the center is super sharp looking.
In the Native culture the Bear is a powerful fetish spirit that represents healing & protection. Also refered to as a medicine bear.
The Heart line symbolizes the life force that all living things possess.
A bezel set inlaid stone of Turquoise, Spiny Oyster & Coral adds beautiful color.
I replaced the original ear wires with solid Sterling Silver Ear wires that I hand formed and hammered for texture.
These are stamped Sterling and has the Artists hallmark.
In perfect condition. They have been cleaned and polished. Will come with rubber ear wire nuts, and will be wrapped in a gift box
