What a great find! This is a silver plate rolltop serving dish by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield. Love the classic, but not too frilly form and attachments of this piece. Who would not want this beauty to be added to their Sunday brunch setup? :-)
The dish measures approximately 9 x 15 x 9 1/2" (with the lid closed and including handles). The dish is in good, but by no means excellent condition. there are some dings here and there, a bit of loss of silver plate and plenty of oxidation. I cleaned it up minimally, as I personally prefer more patina on the surface.
