Genuine vintage John Perry Flamingo sculpture on Burlwood base. Lovely flowing soft pink resin. Collectible. 8 inch tall.
Circa 1980s
This sculpture is made of Pellucida™ a durable resin compound developed by the artist. If it is matt finished Pellucida it can be cleaned with a pencil eraser or washed with water and a little Comet or 409 cleanser. The polished Pellucida needs only an occasional buff with a very soft, clean cloth. If over the years, the burlwood base loses its lustre, apply a little furniture wax and it will buff up like new.
