Very well-built, good playing and exceptionally easy to service vintage Sharp cassette deck Model RT-31. Warm flat response with soft-touch mechanism controls, 3-digit tape counter and 2 mic inputs. Fully overhauled meter bridge, power and audio signal e-caps except Dolby amplifier. Deck disassembled, cleaned and lubricated. New belts x 3. Idler and rubber treated with Rubber Renue. Controls treated with DeoxIT. Generic feet pads installed. Every function including line and mic record and auto-stop were tested OK.
APSS works infrequently - this was a known issue with Sharp decks so it's to be expected but repairing it and replacing Dolby e-caps were beyond the scope of this project for this price.
