This pennant is from the Stoneham, Massachusetts Zoo when the M.D.C. (Metropolitan District Commission) 1958-1991 state agency managed the Stone Zoo for decades as well as the Franklin Park Zoo.
1991 the CZC was created to manage both and in 1997 the CZC was renamed Zoo New England which operates both zoo’s to this day.
This pennant is in very good condition considering its age - it has one very tiny pin hole at the point. Smoke free home
