Vintage Friction Powered Chrome US Navy Military Trigger Plane in Original Box
This is a nice friction powered Trigger Plane No. 2 in its original box. The plane comes with the wings not attached but they easily side onto the bottom of the plane. When the trigger is pulled the propeller spins and sparks fly from the gun mounted at the front of the cockpit. It is in good working order. The cockpit shows a gunner and there are different scenes on either side of the handle (see pictures) The plane has the diamond shaped with T-N trade mark on the back left side and 'Made in Japan. below it as well as on the box lid. Overall it is a very nice toy with box. The plane is 7 1/2 inches from propeller tip to tail end. about 4 inches at highest and the wings span is 7 inches. the box measures about 8 by 3 1/4 by 3 inches.
