F. B. Rogers Silver Co. was a silversmithing company founded in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts in 1883. A. F.B. Rogers is in itself a clue that it is silverplate as this was their specialty. Your silver plated tea set is circa 1910. The number 2461 is the specific pattern number used by the manufacturer. Also,the pattern 6377 is also included.
The set contains:
1)Large Coffee Pot 8 1/4"
2)Small Coffee Pot 7 1/2" There is a small dent on the side, as well as, lid hinge is missing. This is an extra piece that isn’t part of original set. Basically free. See pictures.
3)Creamer 3 1/2"
4)Sugar 3 1/4"
5)Lady Margaret Footed Waiter Tray 19" in length without handles, 24" with handles.
This is a beautiful set. It is left in original condition to add character. These can also be polished to add that shiny silver look.
