An extremely rare 1940s flying saucer shaped compact by Elizabeth Arden! Topped with a dome of clear rhinestones and made of concentric ringed gold tone metal. Opens up to reveal a mirror and original powder- the puff is missing. This piece dates to 1949 from the research we were able to do.
Overall it's on good condition- the exterior is lovely with some mild darkening/ loss of foil to a few of the rhinestones. The interior signed top plate has some scratches and wear to the finish. The mirror is in good condition with no cracks. The latch tab is tight and works perfectly! Measures 3 7/8" across.
