During the Cold War various United States Air Force units created "tour books". These were created in a high school yearbook type format, featuring pictures of all personnel in the units and photos of activities, aircraft, events, and the daily life of being stationed overseas.
This yearbook is for the 47th Bombardment Wing stationed in England near the cities of Alconbury and Sculthorpe. It is dated 1955 and features a photo of every member of the 47th squadron as well as of photos showing daily life and activities.
In good preowned condition. All pages clean with tight binding. Paper has aged with light tanning throughout. Cover art is still colorful but covers do show wear with fading and staining as well as wear to the spine.
