Forster, Edwin Balmer and Philip Wylie, H. P. Lovecraft and others, as well as the script for the Orson Welles radio play, "The Invasion From Mars." An excellent introduction to classic pre-1940 SF. A fine copy in a pretty beat up dust jacket (Dust jacket is separated completely down the spine). The first edition of this book is uncommon and nice copies are quite elusive.
