No rips, tears, but there is one very small stain in the middle. This is pointed out in the last photo. It is not noticeable when wearing. This lovely pink scarf is 75% Cashmere and 25% wool, but is very, very soft. I have in classic blue Tiffany color and I love wearing it especially when I travel. It is perfect as a fashionable neck scarf, or as a wrap if I get dressed up. So versatile! The pink is a beautiful, soft color. I have given as gifts and people are always thrilled. The blue box makes a statement for sure.
