## Optical Features

**Covers a wide range from 28mm wide-angle to 300mm super telephoto with a 10x zoom**

This compact high-magnification zoom lens covers a wide range of focal lengths from 28mm wide-angle to 300mm super telephoto in a single lens. Despite having a magnification exceeding 10x, it achieves an F value of 3.5 at the 28mm end.

**Achieves high image quality by generously incorporating high-grade composite aspherical lenses and LD lenses**

While being a high-magnification zoom lens exceeding 10x, it achieves a size that is portable like a standard zoom lens and the best image quality. To achieve this, it incorporates 3 composite aspherical lenses (2nd group/L4, 3rd group/L9, 4th group/L13) and 2 special low dispersion (Low Dispersion) glasses used in the 300mm F/2.8 class (1st group/L2, 3rd group/L9). This effectively corrects various aberrations and achieves high image quality. In particular, the lens placed in the 3rd group/L9 incorporates the LD-Aspherical Hybrid Lens that Tamron has successfully mass-produced through its unique advanced design and manufacturing technology.

**The lens has some minor dirt.**
