This original OOAK piece by multiple award-winning NH fiber artist, Nancy Qualls, is ready to hang or set in a stand.
It measures 12” x 12” & is comprised of 100% up-cycled & hand-dyed wool strips plus fluffy white art yarn, all hooked by hand, by pulling up one loop at a time through a linen backing. (NOT latch-hooked)
The background is eggplant, setting off the flower’s vibrant colors & elements created by using a variety of techniques including a proddy center, Waldoboro (sculpting) petals & beading (the black & white edge).
The tray-style frame was painted black w/ gold & purple hand painted embellishments.
The frame’s interior is painted with a matching bright orange.
