Specially selected varieties of soybeans and peas provide high quality forage while grain sorghums give them a structure to grow on. Planting warm season mixes like this is a great way to keep weeds out of your fall plots during summer. If you want to rotate to a cool season mix just mow or disc under in fall or leave standing for deer to use as a late season food source. Sorghum seed heads will get hit hard late season if left standing as will any residual soybean pods. Can also be crimped for no till food plotting. This versatile mix can fill a large part of your food plot strategy and provide nutrition and attraction throughout multiple seasons.
