- Stability: Internal pegs and bolts ensure all timbers are securely fastened together, maintaining the sandpit's shape and position
- Drainage: Geo-textile fabric covers internal timber surfaces and the ground, allowing water to drain while preventing mud from entering
- Cover Support: A 150cm central post supports a 50mm mesh cover net, which can be used with or without a cover disc for added play value and load distribution
- Filling: The sandpit is filled with approximately 7 tonnes of washed white sand
- Leveling: Excess soil dug out for leveling is placed along the outer edge of the sandpit
- Accessibility: Optional small timber steps can be added to help smaller children easily access the sandpit
