I purchased it as a discounted item due to mount deformation and have been using it for my regular photography.
The mounting is stiff due to the deformation, but I didn't notice any significant decrease in resolution in my everyday use.
There are scratches overall although there is no discomfort in the zoom or focus ring operations.
