The FS304-V is the third iteration in SilverStone FS304 drive cage lineup. Like its predecessors, the FS304 and FS304-12G, the FS304-V supports transfer rates of up to 12Gbit/s. It sets itself apart with a change in materials and an additional feature of 9.5mm slim ODD support: whereas the FS304-12G features an aluminum enclosure and steel HDD trays, the FS304-V utilizes a steel enclosure and plastic HDD trays. The primary goal of the FS304-V is to offer a budget-friendly alternative while offering the same performance and reliability expected of SilverStone's storage product line.
