This is the First Day of Issue ceremony program for the 1984 release of the Eleanor Roosevelt stamp, signed by 6 people, including 4 family members (all of whom are now deceased). The program is in nearly pristine condition, having been kept in plastic since the event.
The 20-cent commemorative stamp honoring Eleanor Roosevelt was issued October 11, 1984, at Hyde Park, New York. The First Day Ceremony was held at Val-Kill, the home where Mrs. Roosevelt resided during the last years of her life.
