The Down Sierra Jacket uses 60/40 cloth made with jointly developed CORDURA® nylon.

Speaking of 60/40 cloth, it's the fabric that SIERRA DESIGNS used for their mountain parka in 1968, which became a sensation and is a synonym for SIERRA DESIGNS. It's made by weaving cotton for the weft and nylon for the warp in a 60:40 ratio.

This time, we have developed 60/40 cloth using CORDURA® nylon from Invista for the warp.
By using CORDURA® fabric, which is resistant to abrasion, tearing, and fraying, and provides excellent durability and sustainability for everyday use, we were able to create 60/40 cloth with superior tensile strength compared to the conventional 60/40.

The DOWN SIERRA JACKET is one of SIERRA DESIGNS' classic products, a down jacket that's right in the middle of American casual style.
