Limited Edition 1959 Sports Watch Re-creation. The first Seiko sport watch elegant, yet rugged and superbly functional Laurel Alpinist is re-created this distinctive Limited Edition. Available in a limited edition of 1,959 to commemorate the year of its introduction, with each screwdown caseback engraved to show the watch’s position in the controlled-production run, this extraordinary watch features such signature notes as the rich brown leather two-layer bund strap with zig-zag stitching and slanted loop, designed to protect the wrist from moisture, and a clean black dial with oversized mountain shaped markers at the 12-, 6- and 9-o’clock positions to ensure superior legibility. Updates include a date window and LumiBrite hands and markers, as well as a box-shaped sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface. Brand new in box never been worn including paperwork.
