**Open box brand new condition with the factory removable plastic still intact. There is a small scratch on one battery cover, as seen in the last picture. Item does NOT power up when batteries are installed, but I believe it also has to be plugged into the elliptical machine in order to power up. I’m not 100% sure about this, but we offer completely free 30 day returns if there are any issues at all. Without the full machine, I have no way of verifying this. A brand new display costs around $350 plus shipping from vendors, so this is a good opportunity to save some money with the only risk being a few minutes of your time since you can return for a full refund if it doesn’t work properly. **
