The thread sealant is resistant to freeze damage and will not harden with age. No. 7 thread sealant breaks out easily without damage to the thread. Lead free and contains no metal. The pipe thread sealant is easy to apply and has a bursh top lid applicator. For pipe made of galvanized steel, iron, brass, copper, aluminum. Resistant to alcohols, gas, and hydraulic fluid.
