This 65 year old mixing bowl set is older than me and looks a lot better than I do its complexion is clear, glossy, and shinny, nice milk glass bowls, with colorful yellow lemons and minty green leaves on both sides of the bowls. No chipping or cracks typing L shape manufacturing mark on the bottom of the bowls. This magnificent set looks almost unused which is remarkable since it was produced in the 1960’s at the Christchurch factory in the South Island of New Zealand, the factory closed in 1987 and there was a 6+ magnitude earthquake in Christchurch in 2011 which you can still see remnants of today I assume a lot of glass Pyrex was destroyed during that time making this three piece set exceptional .
Notice that the smaller 6 inch bowl and the larger 9.5 inch bowl have darker lemons.
FUN FACT: as you look at the back stamp of the large bowl the pour spout is to the left while the two other bowls the pour spout
