This is a reverse import item manufactured in Japan and sold by Pilot North America.
In Japan, the Dr. Grip gel type was discontinued a long time ago, so many people have been looking for it.
Fountain pens and mechanical pencils are great, but gel ballpoint pens are also worth considering.

Most refills from various manufacturers, such as the FriXion Knock, Zebra SARASA, and Pentel EnerGel, in the "300 series" are compatible.
This allows you to freely change the refill to various line widths, including different colors.
The genuine replacement refill is Pilot's standard "G2" type.
