This quillow is handmade by Amish craftswomen in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. A quillow is a combination pillow and quilt. When folded into the attached pouch the quillow is a decorative or useful pillow that measures 18" x 18". Unfolded, the quillow can be used as a lap throw for the couch or easy chair that measures 60" x 42", providing comfort and warmth. The quillow is easy to refold. Simply place the fully unfolded quillow face down on a flat surface with the quilted pocket face down. Fold each side to the center panel then fold the center panel in three leaving the pocket opening on the bottom. Reach into the pocket and pull towards you so that the folded part is inside the pocket and you are done. Machine wash in warm water on normal cycle. Tumble dry on medium. A quillow makes a great gift but don't forget to get one for yourself!
