Description Poolife MPT Extra is a proprietary and patented 4-in-1 3 inch chlorine tablet. These tablets sanitize, prevent algae, staining and scaling and clarity and soften your pools water. These can be used in chlorine floaters, feeders or skimmers and are sun protected to extend chlorine. Dosage One tablet per 10,000 gallons of water as needed to maintain chlorine residual of 1-3 ppm. Directions Method of Application: Use in a floating dispenser, automatic chlorinator, or feeder designed for this product or place in a skimmer. Use in a new chlorinating device or any device which has previously contained only this product or trichlor-s-triazinetrione. If placed in the skimmer, run the pump a minimum of eight hours daily. Do not use in floaters or feeders that have been used other water treatment products. Do not permit tablets to contact plastic pool linings or metal objects. Do not use in any chlorinating device which has been used with other chlorinating compounds. Opening Your Pool: Balance pool water, shock treat, and stabilizer your pool using Poolife Stabilizer & Conditioner and by following directions on that label. Then follow "Routine Chlorination" directions. Routine Chlorination: Ensure the skimmer basket or floater is free of any other chemicals, tablets, or residue. Place this product in the skimmer basket or floater. Use one tablet per 10,000 gallons of water. Do not add other chemicals in the skimmer or floater while this product is present. Run filter pump a minimum of 8 hours per day, otherwise vinly liner damage may occur. If free available chlorine goes above 4 ppm, reduce skimmer flow rate or daily pump operation time. Reentry into treated swimming pools is prohibited above levels of 4 ppm free available chlorine due to rish of bodily injury. If chlorine residual goes below 1 ppm, add enough Poolife granular shock to maintain 1-4 ppm of chlorine, and increaser skimmer flow rate or daily pump operationg time. The number of tablets and frequency of use will vary with bather load, water temperature, rain, and pump operating time.
