Vintage divided ironstone plates typically used in restaurants, diners, schools and lunch counters. These white retro plates are great for everyday use. For your picky eaters they keep the food separate and the dividing edges are great for scooping up those rolling peas. They are very useful for people with a variety of disabilities.
From 1920 to 1950, the local diner used these plates for their “Blue Plate Special" which consisted of what was referred to as “a meat and 3," meaning a meat dish and three vegetables all for 25 cents.
