One of a kind, sourced, reupholstered and sold by City Issue in Atlanta, Ga in 2009. A statement piece, original vintage 3-piece curved sectional couch.
This piece is heavy, built in the ‘60’s most likely and built to last for generations. Cushions were new in ‘08 and still firm and so comfortable. You get comfort, quality, and iconic design.
Purchased for $2K in ‘08, I would guess at an estimate of around $1K for a new reupholstery job (if you choose) would put this right back at a $2-3K value.
If we had the storage space I would keep it because this couch will never lose its value (with new upholstery and solid cushions) and will never go out of style!
You will find a detail pic of the left arm piece damaged by cat scratches— I had a vinyl patch over the spot for 2-3 years that has since lost it’s adhesive but can be found on Amazon for a quick fix.
