Studies in the history of decorative arts and museum curatorial work led Emily Satloff, the founder of Larkspur & Hawk, to her own esoteric line of jewelry. Applying Georgian era foil techniques, the designer uses antique jewelry, architecture, and vintage textiles to inspire these thoroughly modern pieces. The Olivia Buttons take their inspiration from 200-year-old gentlemen’s waistcoat buttons, beautifully colored with metallic foils and decoratively backed with engraved settings.
