Unique and difficult to find, these drop earrings are ~2” long and feature several natural gemstones. I believe that the large, pale green, pear-shaped stones at the top of each earring are yellow-green opals, which are known for their translucent to opaque nature and subtle green hue.
The smaller, faceted yellow stones below the opals are consistent with the appearance of yellow sapphires, which Butler used extensively in his work, and I believe that is what they are.
The small, round stones at the very top of the earrings and the teardrop-shaped stones at the bottom exhibit the characteristic adularescence (a milky, bluish sheen) associated with moonstones.
The setting is sterling silver, and the earrings are marked NB India 925 on the back.
They come in the original box with the tag (as shown).
