Displayed on petrified wood harvested from the Black Hills is a museum quality prehistoric blade of the Osage Nation. This exquisite artifact was unearthed in Ozark County Missouri on my family's farm September 16th 1994. Designed to function as a knife and a scraper this dual function tool was essential in the life of the native it belonged to. The gleaming surface of the yellow chert and the excellent craftsmanship elevates this artifact to the highest level.
