Fabulous Napier book piece! Gorgeous bejeweled elephant pendant
The elephant carries a red glass ball in his curled trunk, a silver tone ball with faceted rhinestones sits atop the back and there is a filigree 'blanket across the back of the elephant with 3 faux pearls dangling from the bottom on either side, measures approximately 1 1/2 X 1 3/8 .
Eugene Bertolli was the creator and the design was registered in 1965 and produced into the 1970s. The piece is featured in 'The Napier Co, Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry by Melinda L. Lewis
