The 878MAX Wireless Keypad is the same reliable and convenient access device that has been used with Liftmaster garage door openers for years. Now it is available for operating Liftmaster automatic gate openers, and still offers the same convenience and reliability.
The Liftmaster 878MAX Keypad provides convenience and security with its rolling code 390Mhz design. This means that the signal changes for each use, keeping potential thieves from stealing and copying the frequency. Combined with the digital code set by the user, this rolling code provides superior security. Additionally, the 976LM provides the means of protecting the confidential code by allowing a setting for a temporary code for visiting friends, delivery personnel, etc.
Please note that the 878MAX has replaced the 877MAX. The 877 is no longer being manufactured. The capabilities and functions have not changed with the new model.
