This item is from the 70s-80s. It's a 220, the successor to the 101J.
Vintage 220s made in the USA during the 70s and 80s are now highly valued. Those in good condition, especially in big or oversized fits, are seeing their prices rise.
Made in USA, 100% cotton. The size tag is unreadable, but it's likely a 50 long.
Shoulder width: approx. 55cm, Chest width: approx. 66cm (pit to pit), Front length: approx. 65cm (excluding collar), Sleeve length: approx. 66cm. Please allow for some error. While this is a big size for vintage denim jackets, which tend to run small, it would be considered an XL to XXL by today's standards, with the current trend of oversized fits.
I hand-washed and starched it once after purchase.
The starch is still present, so it has a crisp feel, but it should develop a nice fade.
