This cream and sugar set is by Adams Ironware based in England. This pattern is called Lancaster and is based on the design of "Adams Rose," a pattern that the company produced from 1829-1861 that featured whimsical red flowers and green leaves on durable Ironstone shapes. The creamer measures 3.5 inches tall and 2.5 inches across the opening, the sugar bowl measures 5.1 inches tall and 2.25 inches across the opening and are stamped "Real English Ironstone" and "Made in England". Decoration is completely under glaze. Acid and detergent proof.
