• Dual voice coil design: The Arena series dual 2/2.5-inch voice coils are each suspended in a separate magnetic gap. At low power, both coils drive the cone, cancelling any nonlinearities. As power increases, the other coil still applies force to the cone.
• Die-cast, vented aluminum frame: The Arena’s aluminum frame features significant venting and heatsink fins for added power handling, and rigid construction to keep critical voice coil components in perfect alignment.
• Composite paper full-edge subwoofer dust cap and cone: Composite paper’s combination of light weight and rigidity make it the ideal cone material to move a large amount of air without flex or distortion.
• NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) surround: The Arena utilizes a single piece NBR surround seal between the front and back of the woofer. NBR is environmentally stable, meaning you get the same elite performance from the Arena during Summer and Winter.
