The Battista family carries on the tradition of their father, master glassblower Giovanni Battista, with this handcrafted bud vase with a removable candle holder. Giovanni spent his life pursuing perfection, captivated by modern scientific glass, borosilicate, which is both incredibly durable and crystal clear. Borosilicate must be worked at a much higher temperature than Murano glass, requiring great dexterity. His knowledge and skill was passed on to his children after 50 years of perfecting his craft.
