GRRM Star Light 1.1 (Mitsumasa Hoshino Pro Model)

This model refines the best-selling "Star Light 1" from various angles.
By moving the center of gravity forward, you can feel the weight more, achieving even greater flight stability.
The cut, which has been changed according to the balance, provides both a firm grip and a smooth release.

The outline has also been slightly improved, creating a more satisfying feel and sharper flight.
Compared to Star Light 1, the ring cuts in the barrel's center section become wider towards the rear, with cuts covering a wider area.

It's been almost three years since I first made Star Light 1, and my form has changed quite a bit.
The model change was triggered by the changes in my grip and feel, which led me to create several prototypes.

"A barrel with a good release, but also a firmer grip"
That was my goal.
For that, I was particularly focused on the cut and balance.
It's very difficult to achieve both, as improving the grip can worsen the release, and improving the release can make it easier to slip.
By changing the width and placement of the cuts, and moving the balance forward, I was able to create something that matched my vision.
Also, by making slight improvements to the outline, the flight became sharper and the feel improved.
I feel that the stress during setup and throwing has been eliminated, and my rhythm has improved.

I developed several prototypes, but the model released this time has the best feel among them and is a barrel that has cleared all of my requirements.
