This jacket is a **"vintage reproduction"** design, inspired by 1960s US military wear (especially deck jackets and field jackets).

Distinctive Details:
• Herringbone Tape: The white stitched tape visible on the collar and the back of the placket is a military-specific detail that combines reinforcement and design.
• Drawcord: The drawstring at the hem allows for silhouette adjustment.
• Durability: As indicated by "DURABLE WEARABILITY," the thick cotton fabric is coated, so the jacket will develop wear marks (fading) with wear, allowing you to enjoy a vintage-like texture.

Around 2010, GAP was putting even more effort into "American casual vintage" than it does now, and this jacket is made with very high quality.
