Despite being the third-largest economy in Southeast Asia, Malaysian entrepreneurial activity remains under-reported in the scholarly literature. In regional areas, there is an over-reliance on agriculture and necessity-based entrepreneurship, leading to limited entrepreneurial activity. To address this, eco-systems have been created, seed corn funding has been provided, and entrepreneurship education has been promoted to offer career choices in entrepreneurship.
