An upright evergreen conifer with soft blue-green needles variegated with a band of yellow. Variegation is most prominent in cold climates. Needles have downward turn, giving this selection a graceful weeping look. Prefers full sun in well-drained soil. 6' tall x 3' wide in 10 years. Hardy to -40 degrees. A graceful tree when mature, with an irregular branching habit and tilted trunk. Excellent choice for bonsai.
