Vintage Occupied Japan Moriage Demitasse Cup and Saucer with Kannon Goddess and Immortals in rich colors with gold highlights. 1940s to 1952. Cup measures 2 x 2”. Saucer is 3.75” in diameter.
This piece from my personal collection shows wear from age. There is an area of the saucer where the art is worn off (face of the Kannon goddess). There are no chips on either piece. Areas that may appeared chipped in pictures are irregular glazing/painting areas from the original handwork of the pieces.
