The 'ENTRE' side of the tampon fileté gauge should screw in by hand (with minimal effort) into the machined filetage of a part. If not possible, the filetage fails to meet requirements (= 'DOES NOT FIT'). For machined parts and gauges, the reference temperature is 20° Celsius. VÖLKEL, as the manufacturer, provides an in-house calibration certificate upon request (pricing available upon request). Calibration is performed in an independent VÖLKEL measurement lab, adhering to specified directives and standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) per sample. Calibration is conducted on an IAC filetage scanner.
