Marlco's 394mm Charpy U notch broaching equipment is designed for producing Izod and Charpy notches, adhering to BS.131 pt.1, DIN 50115, EN10 045-1, and other widely recognized standards. This equipment offers the simplest, most accurate method for creating these notches. All you need are the fixture, a suitable broach, a compatible press, and a couple of minutes.
- Material Compatibility: Suitable for both ferrous and non-ferrous materials
- Broach Variety: Common fixture accommodates up to 7 interchangeable broaches
- Press Compatibility: Can be used on any suitable arbor press
- Force Required: Load requirement is only 180kg (400lb) on material with UTS of 1.2 kN/sq. mm (75 tons/sq. in.)
