Book - Antiquarian Charles Dickens

Very rare mid-1800’s children’s book, “Child’s History of England” by Charles Dickens. Published by Hurst & Company, New York. Undated. Pictoral cover is still bright, with only slight wear. Some edge and corner wear (see all photos), but binding is tight still, and text is clean and unmarked. Slight foxing on title page, plus following one or two leaves.

Overall, excellent condition for its age and genre. Still eminently readable. No torn pages. Children’s books over 150 years old have often been too well-loved to remain intact.
