Sole structure pursues stability for intense movements.
Inspired by the sole of the GEL-EXTREME basketball shoe released in 1989, this model features a sole structure that pursues stability for intense movements. It incorporates FF BLAST, which has excellent cushioning and is also used in running shoes, to pursue shock absorption upon landing. The upper features suede material on the outer side for increased durability, and mesh material on the inner side for breathability. In addition, the thick tongue provides a superior fit and reduces the impact on the foot during board operation. The insole is designed with different hardness levels on the inside and outside, based on an analysis of skateboarding movements, and features punched holes to promote an inward center of gravity.
